story apartment building was newly built in 2009/2010. It features a large
parking area with a night time guard, interior security cameras and a
card key entry. There is an elevator, stairs and a fire escape also.
There are vending machines for clothes washers and dryers and filtered
drinking water. A small mini mart is located on the premises.
Included in the rent is a once a week maid service who will clean your
apartment and change your linens every Monday if you wish.
These are studio style apartments. The rooms have tile floors and each has a secure
balcony. The units are furnished and have air conditioners,
refrigerator, a TV,
free WiFi internet and free KTV cable TV. Water and electricity rates
are typical of the market and are 18 baht per unit for water and 8 baht
per unit for electricity. This building is about 5.7 km from Text and
Talk Academy and is located on Maliwan Rd., just south of the Khon Kaen
University campus. There are bus services on Maliwan Rd including the #8 blue Song Taew.
This bus will take you from in front of the apartment building to
and from Text and
Talk Academy in perhaps 20 minutes each way. This same bus can also
take you to downtown Khon Kaen and within 1 km of the new Central Plaza
Mall. Future plans are for a parking
lot shade structure, gardens and other tenant friendly enhancements.
Monthly rent is 5,000 baht. The security deposit is
10,000 baht (5,000 baht for contracts longer than 6 months).
The owner offers a 6 week all inclusive package for
Text and Talk students: 11,000 Baht.
Included are 1 entry card key, the maid service once a week on every
Monday, water, electricity, Hi-speed WiFi internet, cable TV, and hot
water hallway service are all included and free of charge. Please note
this rate assumes an average air conditioner use (off during the
daytime, except weekends) of about 2,000 baht per month and water usage
of 300 baht per month. Excessive electric use will be charged to the
tenant. The advantage is a shorter stay than the two full months.
